Omni Health Services has purchased a building in Allentown to be used for a medical center.

The building, located at 1246-1250 Tilghman St, will be the newest Omni Health Services location in the Lehigh Valley. The for-profit behavioral health care corporation plans to provide various mental health services at the site, according to a news release from NAI Summit, a commercial real estate agency based in Allentown.

The building’s previous owner, Balgot Realty Corp., based in Erie, sold the building to Omni with the help of NAI Summit.

The two-story, free-standing building offers on-site parking, a drive through and elevator service. The building was chosen in part because of its high visibility on Tilghman Street, which averages traffic of over 15,000 vehicles per day, according to the news release.

Omni Health Center currently operates a health center in Allentown, at 546 West Hamilton St., as well as nine other centers in Pennsylvania and three in New Jersey.

Efforts to reach Omni Health Services were not successful.
